2. Summer Reading Program Application Form

   For City of College Park residents only

   The UMD Summer Reading Program is an instructional intervention program designed to help children strengthen their reading and writing skills.  Trained reading teachers provide instruction in the areas of writing, spelling, phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension.  Students have multiple opportunities to read a variety of children’s literature and to participate in engaging, small-group activities. 

   Location: Stamp Student Union, University of Maryland Campus

   Dates: July 5 - July 21, 2022

   Days:  Monday through Thursday

   Time: 8:45 am to 10:15 am or 10:30 am to 12:00 pm

    The program begins on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 and ends on Thursday, July 21. Choose one time slot that your child will attend the program.

29. COVID Guidelines/Policy:

    Weekly testing and mask are required. Children will take an at-home test(provided by the camp) each weekend and parents will confirm the results online at the beginning of each week.
