  2. Event & Registration Details

    College Park Day will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the College Park Aviation Museum and Airport (1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive) in College Park, Maryland.

     This is the City of College Park’s signature event and features a wide array of activities, entertainment, and fun to celebrate the community. 

    The event is open to the public and free to attend.   Live bands will perform on a main stage and other entertainment features include kids' zones with obstacles courses and a bounce house, a climb wall, arts and crafts activities, sponsor tents, community exhibitors, and other vendors.  Close to 8,000 attendees are expected during the six-hour event.  This crowd estimate is based on prior attendance patterns.  There will be approximately 10 Food & Drink Vendors covering a variety of offerings.

    Completed registration materials for Food & Drink Vendors are due by Friday, August 26, 2022.  A Food & Drink vendor registration fee of $100 will be due once approved by the College Park Day Committee.

     Food & Drink Vendors for this event must have an already approved and active mobile food-service facility permit in Prince George’s County or will hold a Temporary Food Service Facility Permit for the single day of College Park Day.  Copies of these documents must be submitted along with the Food & Drink Vendor Registration materials.

  3. Terms & Conditions

    College Park Day has the right to approve or disapprove any registration packet.   

    Compliance with City of College Park & Prince George’s County Requirements: 
    Vendors are responsible for complying with all requirements set forth by the Prince George’s County Fire Marshall and Department of Health standards regarding being a licensed food/drink vendor at a community event.   Additionally, vendors need to be in current compliance with all City and County requirements, as applicable.

    All vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 12 noon on College Park Day.  Specific setup/breakdown/cleanup requirements will be provided prior to the event and must be followed.  Late arrivals may forfeit their booth space without refund. No vendor may close before the official closing time. In the event that you need to close because your offered items sellout, you must still have staff at your site and not breakdown until permitted.  Any vendor leaving trash or debris at College Park Day will receive a cleanup invoice.

     Parking & Vehicle Access:  
    No additional vehicles outside of an approved food truck itself can remain in the festival area after set-up.  Vehicles will not be allowed back into the festival area until after the event has concluded and when it is deemed safe for pedestrian traffic. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter or exit the event until after the event concludes.

    Food & Drink Vendor Spaces & Rules: 
    Food & Drink Vendor spaces will be assigned.  Changes to vendor locations during the event will not be allowed.

     Food vendors must request and receive permission to run generators and describe their set-up in application packet.  It is not possible to provide electricity to vendors.  Vendors are responsible for providing own ice, water, and on-site fire extinguisher if required.  

     Vendors must furnish own chairs, tables, stands, tent or canopy and 25 lb. weights for each leg of the canopy.   No decorations or canopies may extend beyond approved area. Photos must be submitted with your registration packet and/or electronically. 

     Food vendors are not allowed to sell and/or distribute any alcoholic beverages at the event unless specifically approved to do so.

    Registration Payment:  
    The full non-refundable payment of $100 is due once approved.   The event will be held rain or shine.    College Park Day has the right to cancel the festival at any time and shall not be held liable for damages, claims, expenses, or losses because of the cancellation.  No refunds will be made accident, health, or other causes for non-participation, including vendor decisions about weather.

    Indemnification & Responsibility:  
    Food & Drink Vendors are responsible for their own insurance.   Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of College Park and the venue site from and against any loss, expenses, claims, damages, causes of action, injuries, suits, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to the vendors participation at College Park Day.  

    Vendors can be required to leave during College Park Day for non-compliance of Terms & Conditions.

    By signing below, applicant acknowledges having received and read the College Park Day Food and Drink Vendor Registration Terms and Conditions and agrees to abide by all rules and terms set forth.

  6. Review Terms and Conditions before completing.  Please detail whether you serve from a tent or truck and the size requirements for your set-up.  Will you be running a generator?  Describe.  Do you have any additional needs?
