All City facilities are open today, July 14, 2022 and operating as normal. Power has been restored to City Hall; residents can use City Hall as a cooling center during business hours today.
At this time, Pepco is reporting that less than 1,500 customers in the area (including customers in the Town of Berwyn Heights). We are seeing the highest concentration of homes without power in Lakeland, Berwyn, Yarrow and College Park Estates; the City is working with Pepco and other agencies to help restore power as soon as possible.

Due to the weather emergency caused by the 7/12 storm, several nearby facilities will open today (7/14) as designated cooling centers for residents:
