A Winter Storm Warning from the National Weather Service (NWS) is in effect for College Park for Monday, January 3, 2022. The NWS predicts that our area may receive up to five to seven inches of snow. For the latest and most up-to-date forecast, please visit their website.
To focus on clearing and plowing City streets tonight and Monday, the City will be pushing all collections by one day this week. Trash, Recycling, Brush, and Curbside Leaf services scheduled for Monday 1/3/22 will slide forward one day to be collected on Tuesday. Tuesday scheduled collections will be picked up on Wednesday; Wednesday collections on Thursday, and bulk trash appointments on Friday.
During winter weather, help our Department of Public Works crews plow your street by parking off-street in your driveway, or if not possible, on the same side of the road as your neighbors and as close to the curb as possible. More parking tips and information is available at www.collegeparkmd.gov/snow.
