Do you work in College Park?
Are you interested in buying a home?
WorkLive College Park may have the home for you!

Administered by the College Park Housing Authority and the College Park City-University Partnership, the WorkLive COLLEGE PARK program provides affordable home ownership opportunities for people working in College Park while minimizing the number of foreclosed homes in the area.

Through this program, you can purchase a recently renovated property at an affordable price. Currently we have two properties on the market: 5127 Niagara Place and 9808 47th Place #206. Coming soon: 2 bedroom/2 bathroom house in North College Park.

5127 Niagara Place is a spacious 4 bedroom/3 bath split-level home with a large fenced-in yard located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. 9808 47th Place is a two bedroom/two bath high-rise condo within walking distance of UMD and the Metro. Both homes have been completely renovated with modern amenities and attention to detail.

To be eligible, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. You (or your spouse) must work at least 20 hours a week for any employer in College Park (including M Square) or surrounding zip codes including 20783, 20705, 20770, 20737 and 20782.
  2. You will be living in the home you purchase.
  3. You make less than $93,300.00 (1 person household), $103,200 (2 person household), or $129,000 (4 person household).
  4. You must receive 8 hours of homeownership counseling by a HUD-approved counseling agency.
