Seniors Program

Overview

Since 1975, the College Park Seniors Program has provided supportive assistance to the senior residents of College Park, with the purpose of enhancing their social and emotional welfare.  Program staff maintain offices at Spellman House and Attick Towers.  Telephone numbers 301-441-3960 (Spellman House) and 301-345-8100 (Attick Towers).

Program Highlights

•  Advocate for senior citizens with insurance companies, physicians and collection agencies regarding bills/payments

• Serve as liaison regarding government entitlement programs  

• Free transportation to doctor's appointments within College Park, extending to an 8-mile radius of the City

• Regularly scheduled trips to banks, post office and grocery store  

• Access to blood pressure medication and/or weight check-ups

• Subsidized senior bus trips
