Welcome to the City of College Park, home of the flagship campus of the University of Maryland.  The University with all of its cultural and educational opportunities is a very special part of our community. Many of our residents are students, faculty and staff of the University of Maryland

It is important to know your rights and responsibilities everywhere.  For your convenience, some of our laws are summarized in the following pages.  Thank you for reading and respecting them for the benefit of all.
